License & Refunds

Plain-English version of the legal terms. The actual binding text is in LICENSE.txt shipped with the kit.

What you can do

  • Run the kit on as many of your own machines as you want
  • Modify any file. Strip what you don't need. Frankenstein components together.
  • Build commercial products on top of the kit
  • Sell those products (charge whatever you want)
  • Use the kit's ideas/patterns in your own original projects without attribution

What you can't do

  • Redistribute the kit itself (the unmodified codebase) to others
  • Resell the kit as your own product (with cosmetic changes only)
  • Share your license key publicly or with other people
  • Reverse-engineer the license validation to bypass it

If you build something cool on top of the kit and want to credit it, link to jarviskit.ai. Not required.

Refunds

All sales are final.

Refunds are reviewed on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion and are not guaranteed. The full request process, eligibility criteria, and statutory-rights carve-outs live on the dedicated Refund Policy page. Short version: email support@jarviskit.ai from your purchase address with order details, we respond within 2 business days.

License key terms

  • One license key per buyer
  • Tied to a machine ID (SHA-256 of hostname + username + platform + arch). If you change machines, you can re-activate up to 3 times, after that, email us.
  • License never expires for the version you bought.
  • Updates: Starter (1 year), Pro (2 years), Enterprise (unlimited).

License server downtime

If jarviskit.ai/api/validate is unreachable, the kit's setup.sh falls into grace mode: 7-day provisional license, install proceeds. Re-validation runs in the background. Your install never fails because of our server hiccup.

What happens if jarviskit.ai disappears

You keep the source code. The kit is yours. The license validation server is the only piece tied to jarviskit.ai, and the kit's validate.js can be configured to point at a different server, an offline mode, or just stripped entirely.

For Enterprise tier: source code escrow is included. We deposit a copy of the kit with a third-party escrow service that releases it to you if our domain expires or our company shuts down.

Warranty

The kit is provided "as-is." Trading bots can lose money. AI agents can make mistakes. You are responsible for what happens when you run code on your machine. We're not liable for losses, damages, or weird AI behavior.

Privacy

The license server logs: license key (hashed), machine ID (hashed), kit version, timestamp. That's it. We don't track what you do with the kit. We don't collect telemetry from running JARVIS instances. The brain visualization data is 100% local, never leaves your machine.
