Refund Policy

This page explains how refund requests work for JARVIS Kit purchases. The full legal terms live in the License & Refunds page; this is the readable version.

Headline

All sales are final.

Refunds are reviewed on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion and are not guaranteed. We typically prefer fixing the underlying issue over refunding.

When we usually refund

  • You were billed in error (duplicate charge, wrong tier, accidental purchase).
  • The kit fundamentally fails to install on a system that meets the documented prerequisites, and we cannot resolve it within a reasonable window after you contact us.
  • You requested a refund within a short window of purchase and have not yet activated your license key on a machine.
  • The kit has a critical undisclosed defect that materially prevents intended use.

When we usually do not refund

  • You changed your mind after activating the license and downloading the source.
  • You decided the kit isn't right for your skill level (the docs are explicit: this is a developer product).
  • You ran the trading bot, lost money, and want a refund. The kit ships with explicit risk warnings and paper-mode default.
  • You have already requested + received a refund on a previous purchase.
  • You bought it more than 30 days ago without contact.
  • The reason given is "I no longer need it" or similar after substantive use.

How to request a refund

  1. Email support@jarviskit.ai from the email address used at purchase.
  2. Include: order ID or last 4 digits of the card used, purchase date, tier, and a brief reason.
  3. If the issue is technical, attach ~/.openclaw/logs/gateway.log tail or a description of what failed and what you tried.
  4. We respond within 2 business days.
  5. If approved, refunds process to the original payment method via Stripe (3-10 business days depending on your bank).

What happens to your license after a refund

Refunded license keys are revoked. The kit you downloaded will continue to work for a 7-day grace window (the same grace period that protects against server downtime), then the next online launch will detect the revoked key and lock activation. You are expected to delete your local copy of the kit at that point.

Statutory rights

If you live in a jurisdiction with mandatory consumer-protection refund rights for digital goods (e.g. EU 14-day cooling-off period for unactivated digital downloads, UK Consumer Rights Act, Australian Consumer Law), those rights are not waived by this policy. Email us with your jurisdiction and we'll process refunds in compliance with applicable law.

Disputes

If you disagree with our refund decision, please reply to the original support thread and explain your reasoning. We re-review on appeal. Filing a chargeback before contacting support is grounds for permanent license revocation.
